RULES

Server rules for Surf Gateway. Please read and follow these rules.

  1. Using scripts/programs/hacks/cheats that give you an unfair advantage of any kind is strictly forbidden. This excludes the +use spam script used for pressing buttons on Speedrun maps.
  2. Upon discovering a bug, glitch or any other exploitable issue, you are required to report it to an administrator immediately and avoid further use of it.
  3. Offensive behavior of any kind is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to personal insulting, homophobia, racism, nazism, nationalism, fascism and anti-semitism.
  4. Spamming messages or commands is not allowed.
  5. Advertising any other servers or websites without the express permission of a head administrator is strictly forbidden.
  6. Pretending to be an administrator or part of the server management is strictly forbidden.
  7. Pretending to be another player or to belong in a clan which you are not a part of is not allowed.
  8. Playing with a frame rate in excess of 131 FPS is strictly forbidden!
  9. Nicks that are politicized, nationalistic, nazi, homophobic, racist, anti-semitic are not allowed. Nicks advertising other servers are not allowed either.
  1. Annoying your fellow players is not allowed.
  2. Upon finding a new bug or shortcut on a map, you are required to contact an administrator before using it. The management will then decide if it is to be kept or blocked. Failure to report the new way may result in your record(s) associated to it being removed.
  3. Starting the timer with pre-gained speed is not allowed.
  1. Camping: Staying in the same area (not surfing) for over 15 seconds.
  2. Falling in jail more than 3-4 times in a row, especially on purpose after someone, is forbidden.
  3. Going up and down around the mario tower is forbidden.
  1. Violation of these rules can result in you being muted or banned from playing on our servers.
  2. Please note that we believe in humans' ability to better themselves, and as such, first time offenders are generally punished rather lightly as a warning. Our generosity does not however extend to repeat and/or serious offenders. Do not assume you can keep breaking the rules without consequences.
  3. The management reserves the right to ban any player from playing on our servers for any reason independent of whether or not it's described in these rules.
  4. The rules are subject to change without any notice. Make sure you keep yourself up to date with them regularly in order to avoid unpleasant situations.
  5. By continuing to play on our servers, you agree to all of the above.
